![]() Bewitched From Birth
She couldn't arrive in the usual way.
She fought heaven and hell to be born that day.
Her blue eyes foretelling, right from the start,
That deep in her soul beat a true witch's heart.
And, though she grew up in the usual way,
Her powers expanded with each passing day.
She saw the world as no others could see.
She was part now, part eternity.
With secrets bequeathed from cultures long past,
The knowledge she had was both varied and vast.
With herbs, with candles, with crystals so bright,
She saw more than most in the dark of the night.
With gemstone bag carried close by her side,
She helped others to see what was hiding inside.
Some fear this wisdom passed on at her birth
But, it was only a gift from her mother, The Earth.

Elemental
Come dance with me in fields of green beneath a golden sun,
Where fairies roam
With troll and gnome
And unicorns still run.
Come walk upon the seashore, to briefly stop and gaze;
To catch a glimpse
Of water nymphs
Soon lost in misty haze.
Come warm by evening fire, as it flits and flirts with night,
And embers share
Their visions rare
Amid their flaming light.
Come breath the air so fragrant with spring's delicate bouquet,
And dragons soar
Forever more
In the dawn of a new day.
Come search men's souls for goodness, for strength, and spirit strong.
And travel where
No mortal dare
For none but gods belong.

Haunting Place
Dust filled rooms with cobwebs hanging,
Floors all creaking, windows banging,
Sudden gusts that chill the bone,
Sounds that have an eerie tone,
Smoke appears without a cause,
Visions that defy all laws;
A house once dressed in style and grace
Has now become a haunting place.
